have influenced my world view. Perhaps the authors are not always
right. Perhaps they have their own agendas which they have not told
us about. That is what makes a study more interesting; a search for
the truth among the noise. I think that I have found the major
political influence of modern times. It is certainly one of them. You
might find them a help too. There are also one or two that
failed to excite my admiration. The readers' comments on the
Amazon site are useful; so are their ratings. Those who
disapprove usually rate low. Other books further down are merely
those that been recommended. Read for yourself. Think for yourself.

The Abolition of Britain
It is the abolition England in fact and by stealth.
For the unenlightened the 'Abolition of Britain' will be met with a mixture of shock and incredulity. For those who have been paying attention (and have done their homework) this book will serve as a sad epitaph to what has happened to our once green and pleasant land. In his excellent book, Peter Hitchens explains how and why our country has changed so much in the space of a few decades.
This is a blow by blow account of the systematic tearing down of our ancient traditions and system of beliefs through a cultural revolution that has, by and large, gone unnoticed by the majority of the British people because each new change has been quietly introduced by stealth.
This book is one of the few I have read that is difficult to put down and I highly recommend it. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.
A Brief History of Crime by Peter Hitchens
Is the companion volume and highly worthwhile. Is not so much about crime as about the politics of crime and life generally in England. Much has been changed since the 1960s by our rulers including their attitudes to life, politics and morals. University humanities departments have much to answer for. Believing that crime is the result of poverty and mistreatment sounds good if you live nowhere near the lower classes. Believing that government employees can persuade the vicious to go straight is a mixture of ignorance and stupidity. Using coercion as a fall back position makes some sense but in practice it means coercing the decent rather than the evil. I know of one arson case where the criminals got away with it because the police are cowards or perhaps bribed.
Government policy is to treat criminals as victims of society rather than perpetrators who have made free choices. The villains are laughing all the way to the next robbery. If honest people defend themselves they become victims of official malice as well as crime. Tony Martin was just the one who got the publicity.
The ruling classes tolerate juries when they do not loathe them because they are genuinely independent; not beholden to the prosecution or defence and a final bulwark against malicious governments. Labour is active in sabotaging them. Tories are little better. See page 232 on.
This book is worth a read for its common sense. If you believe that the Tories are any better than Labour you really need to read this one.
Blair is guilty of a wide ranging attack on liberty in England. He is a lawyer and knows what he is doing. Jenkins was also very effective and dangerous. The Tories are not vicious, greedy and authoritarian; they are stupid, greedy and authoritarian. Mr Hitchens does not tell us about Antonio Gramsci, chief theoretician of the communist party and his influence on New Labour so I do.
Treason at Maastricht: Destruction of the Nation State
Deals more with the criminal aspects of political actions in the United Kingdom. Norris McWhirter and Rodney Atkinson, the authors brought criminal cases charging treason against Hurd and Maude to English courts. They were dismissed without a proper explanation. The men who make up the legal system are part of the problem.

John Sack has done the truth-loving community a great favour by publishing this thoroughly researched book. It deals with the manner of how the transition from German to Polish rule was effected in the areas ceded to Poland by the Allies. It is well known that Hitler had started "ethnic cleansing" of Poles from the "Warthegau" (areas annexed after the Polish campaign in 1939) and one can hardly wonder that the Poles most heartily reciprocated after Hitler's defeat. In view of the abundance of books about the Holocaust it is to Mr. Sack's credit to have shown to the world that Germans were also victims of Polish and Jewish revenge, when the opportunity arose. No past history of misdeeds was necessary, that they had been born of German parents sufficed. The fact that the author had to overcome a highly effective censorship before he was able to get the book published bodes ill for our society, which is so fond of its purported "freedom of speech." I am convinced that if Mr. Sack had not been Jewish the book would, in all probability, never have seen the light of day. If it had been self-published it would probably never have been reviewed and relegated to obscurity in spite of its intrinsic value. That Jews were in leading positions in the Polish State Security Office immediately after the war and that a number of them conducted themselves in an inhuman manner should surprise no one, unless one believes that Jews have transcended the bounds of the human race and joined the realm of the good angels. When it comes to war the worst of human instincts are released on both sides of the front. It needs to be remembered also that only the armies had stopped shooting on VE day while private wars, due to accumulated hatred by the oppressed, had continued for some time thereafter. In order to avoid another Holocaust we have to deal with the basic human phenomenon of hate, which cannot be legislated out of existence. Moralising will not do either. The roots of conflict must be exposed and intelligently dealt with by considering the grievances of both sides. This Mr. Sack has done in an admirable manner and An Eye For An Eye should be used in Holocaust education courses to show the universality of evil.

Behind Communism by Frank L Britton
Is an orphan. Frank Britton took the story up to 1952 or so. Who was he? A sound man but that is about all we know. We owe him a debt for enlightening us. He tells us his story and gives us the sources that we can check. It is getting more difficult to find. At least one site has dropped it so I am posting it.
This book was the start of my journey toward enlightenment. The truth is a weapon too little used. If you do not know who or what is behind communism you need this book. The evidence is still out there even though they have largely taken over the media. The Wikipedia gives us nothing. It censored him but then it is controlled by a Jew with an agenda. BELL CURVE : Intelligence and Class Structure in American Life
Intelligence is what makes us different from other animals. Measuring it is worthwhile. Psychologists did then found that they did not like the answers and their implications so they pretend that measuring IQ is impossible or irrelevant. This is a standard method in the soft sciences. The fact that they dislike is that intelligence is different in different races. It is not politically correct to say this. Charles Murray and Richard Herrnstein did in detail with the facts, with the evidence. This has made them unpopular in some circles. It is well written and makes an easy read in what can be a difficult area.

Civil War II
Thomas Chittum's "Civil War II" is not for the weak minded or squeamish. Chittum, a retired special forces veteran and freedom fighter, paints a horrifying, but probable future for the United States as a nation state.
Chittum starts out by asking the reader to figure out which "tier" you belong to in the new order. If you are a member of the white working class you will immediately understand what Chittum means. The "International Bureaucratic Elite" are the ones destroying America and creating an empire for their own purposes, power and greed. To do this the white working class must be degraded to third class citizens. This will be done through "racist affirmative action", political correctness, and outright tyranny. Since whites are the economic and racial backbone of America, they must go.
Chittum further relates how illegal immigration, racial politics, and cowardly and devious politicians , are exploiting the ethnic tensions already present from "multiculturalism" The Mexican "reconquista" of the American Southwest is happening at lightning speed and within 20 years whites will no longer be the majority in those states. A revolution in Mexico is predicted within 15-20 years which will be a spark for a "Aztlan republic" and outright secession. Along with this will come a brutal race war between whites and blacks in the America south.
Chittum draws a map of new America showing the probable breakdown of the new ethnic nations: the Northwest and Midwest a white European nation, the South a black one, and the Southwest Hispanic. He also describes how black and Hispanic street gangs( the Gangster Disciples of Chicago 50,000 strong) will be the new ethnic militias along with white militias forming for self defence. He recommends white Americans, when the time comes, form Committees of Correspondence with other white communities for self-defence and cooperation. He also advises any whites living in the South or Southwest to get their affairs in order and move out the Northwest before the shooting starts.
If this books sounds pessimistic, it is. It is also a warning to America and the International Elite who are creating the conditions for this race war: affirmative action, racial politics, blatant discrimination against the majority whites, destruction of the white working class, gun control, and the feudalisation of society through ethnic "tiering" and annihilation of the Bill of Rights. Chittum predicts this to begin about 2020 or so. He believes ethnic riots in Los Angeles or a city with a large black population during the summer will be the spark. The USA will degenerate into anarchy shortly after this as the Federal government seeks to regain order. Not a pretty picture.
This book is a warning, so prepare yourself. Part of the answer is working out who is doing this to us.

Nancy Pelosi received the 2002 Cesar Chavez Award from the United Farm Workers, yet she and her husband own a Napa Valley vineyard that uses non-union labour.
Schweizer’s conclusion is simple: liberalism in the end forces its adherents to become hypocrites. They adopt one pose in public, but when it comes to what matters most in their own lives—their property, their privacy, and their children—they jettison their liberal principles and embrace conservative ones. Schweizer thus exposes the contradiction at the core of liberalism: if these ideas don’t work for the very individuals who promote them, how can they work for the rest of us?

Espionage: The Mitrokhin Archive II by Christopher Andrew and Vasili Mitrokhin
After the death of Stalin, with the Soviet empire secured as far west as the Oder and Danube, the Soviet Union’s apparently formidable secret police and intelligence service became committed to realising Lenin’s dream of global revolution — rallying the comrades, in the words of the Internationale, for the “last fight to unite the human race”. This long-awaited second tranche from the 2,000-folio KGB archive smuggled out of Russia by its archivist Vasili Mitrokhin reveals a classic case of hubris and nemesis.
Having denounced Stalin’s Cult of Personality at the 20th party congress in 1956, Khrushchev also disposed of his policy of “socialism in one country”. He announced instead that “the new period in world history that Lenin predicted has arrived, and the peoples of the East are playing an active part in deciding the destinies of the whole world — are becoming a new mighty factor in international relations”. So credulous were the supposed hard men of the Kremlin that for a quarter of a century they believed the Third World was the arena in which they could win the cold war. This illuminating book, co-authored by Christopher Andrew, our leading authority on the secret machinations of the Evil Empire, is the measure of their progressive disillusionment.
Andrew pays tribute to the courage of Mitrokhin, who died here last year aged 82, in secure exile. He reminds us that had the KGB learnt that their plots were being betrayed to the West by one of their own most trusted officers, “the odds are that after a secret trial Mitrokhin would have ended up in the execution cellar with a bullet in the back of the head”.
Of those peoples of the East envisaged by Khrushchev as the storm troops of the final phase of world revolution, none were so assiduously courted by his intelligence service as the Indians. Among revelations that have already made sensational headlines in the Indian press is the disclosure that Indira Gandhi — code-named “Vano” — was fed details of bogus CIA conspiracies, as well as forged documents that purported to show that Pakistan was behind the growth of Sikh separatism. The KGB claimed that Afghan refugees had been contracted to murder her. However, as Andrew says, Gandhi “tragically underestimated the threat posed by her own Sikh bodyguard” — and the invasion of the Golden Temple of Amritsar signed her death warrant.
If the head of the KGB’s counterintelligence, Oleg Kalugin, regarded India as a “model of infiltration of a Third World government”, it was to the West, four years after the 20th-congress speech, that his mercurial leader Khrushchev turned to establish a “bridgehead” against the “main adversary”, the United States. The famous bear-hug exchanged at the United Nations in 1960 with the charismatic “maximum leader” of the Cuban revolution, Fidel Castro, was intended principally as a rapier thrust at the Americans on their own turf. Actually, at first the Russians were sceptical of Castro’s Marxist commitment and Khrushchev accused him of “adventurism”. Nevertheless, Khrushchev’s brinkmanship carried the relationship onward, to the verge of Armageddon, in the missile crisis of 1962.
As Andrew points out, the Americans’ dirty tricks on the Latin American front did give the KGB a string of first-class propaganda coups, from the Bay of Pigs to the Iran-Contra affair. In fact, he calls Reagan’s campaign against the Sandinistas “a public relations disaster on a global scale”. Elsewhere, America became paired in Mexican eyes with Pinochet’s Chile as the two “most unappealing countries” after KGB black propaganda put it about that Mexican children were routinely being kidnapped, spirited across the American border and murdered for their vital organs.
Pinochet’s predecessor Salvador Allende was given the code name Leader by Moscow Control — an inappropriate choice as his total incompetence soon raised doubts about his survival prospects. This idol of the left, with a penchant for good wines and sexual voyeurism, ignored repeated warnings from the KGB to suppress the rising tide of disaffection in his army’s ranks. After the inevitable CIA- inspired coup of 1973, the Kremlin was left with a single champion in the New World, Castro, who continued to hurl defiance — and take its economic aid.
The other promising area for undermining western influence was in the Middle East — yet it would ultimately prove the graveyard of the Soviet empire. Russian intelligence was already aware of the threat from militant Islam signalled by the Iranian revolution, but it was Yuri Andropov’s KGB that fanned the flames, advising Brezhnev to intervene in Afghanistan. As part of their global propaganda campaign they also put out a story that Jimmy Carter’s security adviser, Zbigniew Brzezinski, had developed an “Islamic Kriegspiel against the Soviet Union, to create an Islamic ‘bomb’ in Central Asia”. The “bomb” exploded under them in Chechnya, with consequences that are still reverberating.
As soon as he took power Gorbachev issued a diktat against “the impermissibility of distortions of the factual state of affairs in messages and informational reports sent to the central committee”. It was too late. As Andrew says, the ruinously expensive flow of arms and military hardware to the Third World had fatally undermined the creaking Soviet economy — and “fantastic conspiracy theories reflected the state of disorientation and denial within KGB Centre’s leadership produced by the collapse and global humiliation of the political system of which they were part. The Soviet Union had nothing of importance to offer the Third World save for arms which most of the recipients couldn’t afford to buy and Moscow could no longer afford to subsidise”. It sums up the essence of this important book, which, while it casts a baleful light on a crazed political experiment, still has lessons for our present confused world scene.

Last Days of the Romanovs by Robert Wilton
Mr Wilton was a reporter for The Times, one of the world's oldest newspapers and in Russia at the time of the Revolution. He also took part in the investigation of the murder of the Tsar and his family at Yekaterinburg. His book gives the membership of various important Bolshevik committees and the their nationalities. In Russia one might expect them to be predominantly Russian. In fact they were largely Jewish. Being a political activist is not necessarily being evil but the Bolsheviks and their successors succeeded in killing between 85 and 100 million people worldwide. They made the Nazi efforts look quite modest. More and better details are in The Black Book of Communism. Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn confirms Mr Wilton's case. Spartacus School Net, a left wing source gives us a hostile review. The Wikipedia gives us nothing. It censored him.
Living by the Sword by Stephen Green
Mr Green gives some recent history of the Middle East and in particular Palestine. He also tells us about the enormous influence of Jews in America. This had practical effects. It meant that when the version of the F4 Phantom which was especially fitted to carry nuclear weapons left the factory it went to the Jewish air force. The USAF came second. The Americans supplied cluster bombs to the Jews on the strict condition that they were to be used against military, not civilian targets. The Jewish air force used them when was it doing area bombing against civilians in Beirut. At least one American died as a direct result. He also tells about the Shatila Massacre and how it was set up by Ariel Sharon. One might wonder why Jews are hated. Read this book and find out why.

Jews hate Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn. It is that simple. He told the truth about them and he will never be forgiven. He will never shut up either. He has been there and seen what the KGB could do. That is why they control the media; to suppress the truth. The Wikipedia article on the man tells about the book, fails to give a source but makes claims about his views on Jews which might or might not be accurate. The Wiki is a Zionist propaganda operation.
State of Fear by Michael Crichton
Is a blood and thunder novel which came my way by chance. It has more than sex, lust and violence though. There is a long, hard look at global warming and the environmental campaigning racket. Save the Muesli sounds fairly harmless if misguided but it part of a major industry which generates a multimegabuck income for its management. There is a hard sell behind the soft, warm image.
Very few people have the scientific background to understand the physics and geology of our environment. The minority who do and it is much less than 1% of us are liable to be involved directly. It turns out that they have life styles and mortgages too. They need the money that goes into research; it is another industry just like environmental campaigning.
Doctor [ of medicine ] Crichton slips the message about very dodgy science and high pressure sales campaigns in under the radar but he has been over the ground. When a man gives sources for his assertions his stuff is checkable. When the accused say nothing and do not sue for libel it is evidence for the prosecution. To be fair he fingers big business as well as government operations and greenies.
He tells us how governments manipulate us using fear, whence the State of Fear which is the book's title. See it at page 536 on. It is a good read with real reality behind it.
PS Bjorn Lomborg deals with statistics and goes over a lot of the same ground in a different way. He has access to the data and understands it. Professor Lomborg wrote The Skeptical Environmentalist and got hated for his pains. The WWF didn't sue for libel. Nor did any of them.

It caused two reactions. The first was furious abuse. The second was a news black out. This is not quite censorship but it has the same effect. Their sin was to write about intelligence and race honestly. Pushing the multiculturalism line would have been all right. Telling the truth was not and is not. Their important point is that there are differences in the average intelligence of races which have important results. People in America have IQs averaging around 100. Blacks in America average 85; those in Africa achieve 70. Jews come in higher at 115. Look at the statistical connections between IQ and success to know why it matters. People in prison tend to low IQs. Those with real Nobel Prizes average high. This excludes the Nobel committee's sillier awards and political awards in literature and other areas where waffle predominates. If you get abused by the left you well have something worth saying and worth hearing.

This is the butcher's bill of the Bolsheviks and their successors. They killed, tortured, raped, robbed and destroyed in Russia, China, Cambodia, Cuba, South America, Africa, Eastern Europe and anywhere else they gained an entrée. Is this a case of a truth too big to see or will not see? Read for yourself. Think for yourself. Decide for yourself. The Wiki decided that that they couldn't pretend that he didn't write this book so they state a bare minimum.
The Electronic Whorehouse by Paul Sheehan
Mr Sheehan was the editor of The Sydney Morning Herald and he is like a butcher with his sausages. He knows what goes into the product and it is not a particularly pretty sight. 70% of it comes from public relations outfits so the truth is immediately subordinate to the agenda. He goes through some issues that have received attention and does it very well. John Howard, the Prime Minister of Australia has been accused of lying about the children of illegal immigrants being thrown overboard. The fact is that throwing them into the sea is a standard tactic. It triggers a legal obligation in the Australian navy to rescue. Boats are then sabotaged so that they cannot be sent back to Indonesia. Passports are thrown overboard too. This is destruction of evidence. The press does not say much about these things because of the agenda. He gives references to the Parliamentary Report and many other sources. It is checkable. He also goes over the ground in l'affaire Windschuttle and gives a good account; one that will not please Marxist historians. A good read from a forceful writer.
The Invisible Enemy by Edward Abboud
The title tells all. Mr. Abboud writes about the war that we are losing because we do not even know that it is happening, far less who the enemy is. As in any war, truth is the first casualty. This time lies are the main weapon. Conventional wars are noisy, dangerous, expensive and obvious. Even modern guerrilla wars are obvious. The enemy carries out the attack in his own time but the results of an ambush or an explosion are conspicuous. A war of subversion is different. Infiltrate and take over every important organization and you will eventually control everything. Newspapers, books, film, radio, political parties, the legal profession, business, religion, education all of these things are being brought under control. It is a battle for hearts and minds. At first it was not polite to talk about our attackers. Now it is becoming illegal. Read for yourself. Mr. Abboud makes a case and gives the facts. Read for yourself. Think for yourself. Decide for yourself. Find one of the guilty at Antonio Gramsci
Three Whys of the Russian Revolution by Richard Pipes
Professor Pipes is not just another historian. He is an eminent historian who served on the National Security Council that advised Ronald Regan during the Cold War. There are plenty of thick books which tell us at length about people with unfamiliar names and bury us in detail. Perhaps the truth is in there somewhere. This little book is different. It is a summary of his view of modern Russian history and its context. He says that the Bolshevik Revolution probably caused the rise of the Nazi Party, the Second World War, decolonization and definitely caused the Cold War. These huge events make it worth understanding how and why it happened. He had reason to be interested because he was born in Poland just after the Russian Revolution. He says that it happened because of subversion by radical intellectuals. This is a part of the truth. But you can read for yourself and decide whether you are better informed after. Robert Wilton tells us that most of the subversives were Jews and he was there on the day. So does Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn and he is part of Russia. It is interesting to see how many of them are at the centre of subversive movements. Professor Pipes is just one such. See Richard Pipes. His son, one Daniel Pipes is a virulent anti-anti-Semite. The Wiki admits that he is a Jew but does not tell us that he is a propagandist.
The Fabrication of Aboriginal History by Keith Windschuttle
I tend to assume that going to a university means access to the teachers who know their subjects and are going to tell the truth about them. Perhaps history is different because it is ultimately political. George Orwell said something like: He who controls the present, controls the past. He who controls the past, controls the future. The early settlement of Tasmania may well be a case in point. It has definitely excited controversy. Settling involved dealing with the original inhabitants, the Abos. Aboriginal comes from the same root as original. University courses tell the sad story of how they were dealt with. Murder them but rape them first and eat them after was the answer. Because lecturers and researchers said this it had to be true of course. Keith Windschuttle was not so sure and went to the original documentation. There was not a lot of it and none was written by Abos but in the nature of things it had some relationship to the truth. There were no recipes for Aboburger or black sausage for example but there were reports of attacks on farms and follow ups with casualty figures. This picture was very different. Our Marxist historians were not amused when it all came to light, saying so very loudly and very publicly but never quite seem to have sued Mr. Windschuttle for libel; an interesting omission. Presuming that universities are honest is the obvious approach. In Australia it is more complicated. If lecturers can get away with it they influence large numbers of people who will be important in later life, lawyers and politicians for example. They are a prime Marxist target. That is why it is done. You might care to do a Google search on Windschuttle to find a lively and passionate correspondence in the newspapers.

The idea that the CIA should be a major drug runner is fantastic but Alfred McCoy takes us over the ground, telling us what happened and why. Using the hill tribes of the Laos area against the Chinese meant paying them which translates into moving their crops for them. Rice and opium are the options and poppy is much more profitable. How do intelligence outfits operate in foreign lands? They work with other covert outfits which means the crime industry. This can become too much of a two way passage. The Mafia's pay off for help in Sicily in 1944-5 was freedom to operate and move contraband. Is it different today? Believe it if you want. They were working with hooligans in Afghanistan. Now they are trying to subvert Iran. That means liaising with bandits.

The Skeptical Environmentalist by Bjorn Lomborg
Professor Lomborg was a statistician at Aarhus University in Denmark and a man with rock solid credentials as a greenie. He came across a critique of environmentalist positions and gave it to his students to refute. They failed to his surprise and being an honest man who could not either, wrote a book which uses government statistics to give the lie to various people whose agendas come ahead of the truth. More people have access to good drinking water, not fewer. The number of starving is down too, according to the people who go there and see what is happening. He is very unpopular with the management of the WWF [ World Wildlife Fund for Nature ]. He says in some detail that they are liars. They could sue for libel but seem to have decided not to. Oil is not going to run out any time soon. He tells us why not. The numbers are out there. His position on global warming is that the case is unproven. The Scientific American is a well known magazine which devoted eleven pages in one edition to abusing him but stopped just short of saying that he was wrong. You might wonder why they were annoyed.

Mitrokhin was a front line man in the KGB then moved back to a position of less responsibility. He had total access to their records and was so impressed that he kept notes of various operations. Had he been caught he would have lucky to live. Death might have been preferable to exile in the bleaker parts of Siberia. He got away with it and when the Berlin Wall came down he was able to make contact with the outside world. These are the results and impressively nasty they are. Chris Andrew is an historian who turned the Russian into decent English. This output is the kind of one off that makes it worth reading for the story behind it as well as the stories in it.
Untouchables: Dirty Cops, Bent Justice and Racism in Scotland Yard

The title says it all, well most of it. There isn't much about racism or even bent justice but the rest is spot on. Michael Gillard did a lot of financial writing for Private Eye and came up with some good stuff. He named names and rarely if ever got sued. That means that he got it right and could prove it. The police are also enthusiastic about using libel to suppress the truth and the Police Federation has a track record of success. Perhaps that is where the bent justice comes in.
Robert Marks was the commissioner who sacked 300 men and that was just in the CID. He was the last commissioner in the Met who gave us serious reason to believe that he had any intention of doing anything about police corruption. It can be done and it needs to be kept being done. When bent coppers are frightened of the honest ones, it is as under control as it is ever going to be. Robert Marks was in thirty years ago. Significantly he was an outsider so blackmailing him was not quite so easy.

Washout by John Dawson
Various Marxist history teachers were annoyed at having their stories exposed as lies by Keith Windschuttle. They wrote Whitewash as a collective response. Washout tells us clearly and forcefully that they have side stepped the core issues while nit picking and using irrelevancies to cloud their failure. In fact their dishonesty is not just a local affair but is part of worldwide assault on academic standards and an international agenda.

The truth is a weapon. So are lies. Tom's book does not a rate a review from the establishment so we have to make do with the one. Winter in Moscow by Malcolm Muggeridge
Malcolm Muggeridge was better known in his latter days as a commentator and television personality. As a much younger man he was a reporter in Moscow when Russia was ruled by Joseph Stalin. Mr. Muggeridge went out into the countryside and saw peasants being rounded up by the Red Army to be deported or murdered. When the Manchester Guardian got his report they were so pleased that they suppressed it. This book was never reprinted but your library will have it in its reserve collection. A close up view of practical tyranny and the people who use it for their own advantage. The Wiki is surprisingly honest about this book but it is rather buried in other matters.

The Blairs and Their Court by Francis Beckett and David Henck
Tells us about the tensions between Blair's people and the Royal Family, especially at the time of Princess Diana's death. The Guardian's review tells us about the hatred and manoeuvrings of that time. The feel of the whole thing is reinforced by Andrew Rawnsley in The Servant of the People [ 2000 ]. See Blair and New Labour for some quotes. It will be published by Aurum Press on 14 October 2004.
These are on my list of books to be read. Being sneered at by Private Eye is a good sign.
The Cost of War by Jeremy Greenstock
He was our man on the spot. Foreign Office men can be pro-Arab but it is on a basis of long experience, knowledge of the language, the politics and the people Blair is trying to censor this book in England. That fact by itself means that it is worth reading but you may have get it from America.

Enid Blyton
Her output was huge and it is for children. She is dependable in a way that things written since the 1960s are not. Children like her books and she gives them the ability to read fast and easily.
Ivor Benson
Was a sound man, a South African and journalist. He wrote about the forces which are creating a world government by cunning and fraud. It is what people tend to call the New World Order.
