Summarizing the events of last year is not too difficult - bad
and getting worse is the theme. Predicting next year's events is wide open to
error. I got it wrong but then I expected to get it wrong. The trick is to say
so and not feel embarrassed. See for yourself my good calls and the bad ones.

Corrupt government, Incompetent, spendthrift government, terrorist thugs using religion as an excuse. Surprising? No. It is what happened.

War, torture, corrupt government, fiscal irresponsibility on a mind boggling scale. Is it time to leave the planet?

Bad and getting worse. Politicians are getting away with far too much.
