Why ZOG Hates Encryption

For a sound view on why we ALL need encryption go to ZOG Hates Encryption. Governments are not our friends. They are bureaucracies with power that see us as peasants ripe to be the victims of tax farming and that is the least of the problems they create.

For a copy of PGP 6.5.8 - the last genuinely open source version go to 658-IMAD.EXE  It gives you PGP Disc which enables you to create a file that behaves like a hard disc but it is encrypted until you open it.

Be aware that one of the major weaknesses of privacy techniques is the password. Phil Zimmermann originated PGP and prefers to say pass phrase and he is right. A single word just is not good enough. A dictionary attack will break it. A few unrelated words are much better. Restricting yourself to one language is an option and a weakness. You can ask questions on a news group like alt.security.pgp

Errors & omissions, broken links, cock ups, over-emphasis, malice [ real or imaginary ] or whatever; if you find any I am open to comment.
