Oligarchs are the hard faced men who did well
out of the collapse of the Soviet empire after the Berlin Wall came down in
1989. The Wikipedia's article tells us that they are hated in Russia but manages
not to let us know that there is good reason and that most of them are
Jews. Viktor Pinchuk is one.
The
Wikipedia tells us that he is big in the Ukraine and that he did not try to
murder Viktor Yushchenko
who was a presidential
candidate. He is in the media which gives him a big propaganda voice.
