Michel Chossudovsky

Michel Chossudovsky is a Jew from Russia, an academic and a scruffy patter merchant. He feeds out information which can be right. Chosser's site is Global Research which does have something relevant from time to time. It helps his credibility. He brought us an article on HAARP, an American research project investigating radio signals in the atmosphere. It is seriously wrong. Another hostile view is at Zionist Bullies

Michel Chossudovsky is a Canadian economist. He is professor of economics (emeritus) at the University of Ottawa.[1][2][3][4]

Michel Chossudovsky is Director of the Centre for Research on Globalization (CRG). He has taught as visiting professor at academic institutions in Western Europe, Latin America and Southeast Asia, has acted as economic adviser to governments of developing countries and has worked as a consultant for international organizations including the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the African Development Bank, the United Nations African Institute for Economic Development and Planning (AIEDEP), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the International Labour Organization (ILO), the World Health Organisation (WHO), the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC). In 1999, Chossudovsky joined the Transnational Foundation for Peace and Future Research as an adviser.[3]

Chossudovsky is past president of the Canadian Association of Latin American and Caribbean Studies. He is a member of research organisations that include the Committee on Monetary and Economic Reform (COMER), the Geopolitical Drug Watch (OGD) (Paris)and the International People's Health Council (IPHC).[3]

He is editor for the Centre for Research on Globalization, which operates a website at globalresearch.ca. The Centre for Research on Globalization is "committed to curbing the tide of globalisation and disarming the New world order".

He is an active member of the anti-war movement in Canada, and has written extensively on the war in Yugoslavia. After the September 11 terrorist attacks he has also been involved in highlighting the historical relationship between the US government, Bin Laden and Al Qaeda. On Russia Today, he stated that President Obama, not Osama is threat number 1 to Global Security.[5] In the Preface of America's "War on Terrorism" he wrote:

The myth of the "outside enemy" and the threat of "Islamic terrorists" was the cornerstone of the Bush adminstration’s military doctrine, used as a pretext to invade Afghanistan and Iraq, not to mention the repeal of civil liberties and constitutional government in America. Without an "outside enemy", there could be no "war on terrorism".

He is a frequent contributor to Le Monde diplomatique, Third World Resurgence and Covert Action Quarterly.[6] he is also a contributor to the Encyclopaedia Britannica. His publications have been translated into more than twenty languages. His latest book is titled America's "War on Terrorism".

Chossudovsky claims that the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Programme (HAARP) is actually an operational weapon of mass destruction, with the power to alter the weather, disrupt regional electrical power systems, and modify the Earth's magnetic field, as well as potentially trigger earthquakes and affect people's brains. [7][8][9] He has also espoused several 9/11 conspiracy theories, including the "stand-down" of the United States Air Force, the supposed lack or disappearance of airplane debris at the Pentagon, and the "pulling" of 7 World Trade Center. He has also claimed that the invasion of Afghanistan had long been planned by the United States and NATO, with the 9/11 attacks an excuse to justify the war.[10][11]
